Nobody puts Baby in a corner

In the summer of 1963, a girl named Frances ‘Baby’ Housman takes a trip to resort with her family. Baby was born into a privileged family and she now has expectations put into place by her parents that she has to follow. Baby has her whole life planned out until she meets the drop dead gorgeous, Johnny Castle, who unfortunately grew up very differently from Baby. Johnny’s dance partner gets into an unexpected situation and Baby has to step up to become Johnny’s dance partner. Keeping this from her father, Baby secretly continues to learn how to dance. While Johnny is teaching Baby routine after routine they both fall helplessly in love with each other. When Baby’s father finds out about Baby and Johnny he forbids them to see each other. Johnny is forced to leave before the final performance of the year. In the end Johnny and Baby realize that their love is too strong and nothing can break them apart.
